John Deere Rolls Out 6120 B With Front Loader Compatibility

John Deere has introduced the 6120 B, a 75 HP flagship built specifically with front loader and light dozer work in mind. Unlike most Indian-market tractors where loader brackets are fitted by third-party vendors after purchase, the 6120 B ships with factory-integrated mounting points and reinforced front axle geometry.

The tractor uses a 12-speed transmission and a 4-cylinder engine rated at 2,400 kg lift capacity, among the highest in its segment. John Deere is positioning it toward large landholders, custom-hire contractors and farm-produce warehousing operations that need a single machine for both fieldwork and material handling.

At a starting price of roughly 14.5 lakh rupees, the 6120 B sits well above most domestic competition, but comes with John Deere's standard 5-year, 5,000-hour warranty. The company says early interest has come mostly from Maharashtra and Karnataka, where mechanised horticulture and warehousing operations are more established.

Analysts expect the loader-ready configuration to slowly filter down to John Deere's smaller 5000 series models over the next two years as demand for multi-purpose tractors grows among mid-sized farms.
