Comparing Three 50 HP Tractors Back to Back on the Same Field

For this comparison video, we borrowed three 50 HP tractors from local dealers and ran each through an identical set of tasks on the same field: a rotavator pass, a loaded trolley haulage run, and a tight-turn manoeuvring test in a narrow lane.

The Mahindra Yuvo Tech+ 575 impressed with its wider gear spread, giving finer control during the haulage run in particular. The John Deere 5050 D stood out for the smoothest hydraulics response under the rotavator load, while the Massey Ferguson 9500 Smart's 12-speed transmission made light work of the manoeuvring test in the narrow lane.

Fuel consumption was tracked across all three tasks and the differences were smaller than expected, within roughly half a litre per hour of each other across the full test.
